The Kavery Engineering College (TKEC) is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai with the guidelines of AICTE and the curriculum is strictly adhered to the curriculum prescribed by Anna University for the 10 UG courses of Engineering, 6 PG courses on Engineering and MBA & MCA courses. The Vision, Mission and Quality Policy of the institution are all oriented towards the holistic development of the student, which is evident during admissions. TKEC is the most preferred college and almost 90% of the seats are filled from the 70% of economically poorer & below poverty students. The institution's focus has been to impart quality education coupled with overall development of the Students. To achieve this, the Institution encourages all students to participate in various activities:

• Efficient faculty members, interactive class rooms and well equipped, modernized laboratory practice sessions help us achieve the vision. TKEC has a strong IT enabled network. All the departments have ICT enabled class rooms. TKEC follows a well-structured Choice Based Credit System with a focus on Outcome Based Education in accordance with Anna University Curriculum. Elective courses are framed in accordance with the needs of the industry.

STUDENT CENTRIC METHODS- PHOTOGRAPHS

• The Institutions make use of innovative teaching learning methodologies to enhance the learning experience of the students. The students receive a holistic education in training, Seminars, Workshops, Guest Lectures, Value Added Courses and soft skilled programmes.
• The faculty makes use of ICT tools like Power point presentations, Google class room, Online content, outbound training, flipped class rooms and blended learning to enhance their knowledge.

SOFT SKILL TRAINING- PHOTOGRAPHS

Soft Skill training is working on communication abilities, personality traits, personal attributes, etc. which are significant professionally and socially. These skills assist students with a lot of things in the workplace. Soft skills play a significant role in the success and growth of the individual. It is vital for the students to be capable to communicate well with others as every profession and role consists of interacting with the colleagues, superiors, clients, and others. Students with good soft skills are also very adaptable to the new role and environment irrespective of the field or industry. Soft skill training helps them to improve their personal attributes along with communication abilities.

TRAINING AND PLACEMENT

TKEC has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with more than 30 industries and companies. TKEC provides various training activities for the students through its Placement and Training Cell. Over 80 % of the students are placed in reputed multinational companies every year. TKEC also motivates students to pursue higher education and helps them in their preparation for GATE and all other competitive examinations.

TKEC provide innumerable support and provide ample opportunities to help the students develop the requisite skills and expertise to make them employable graduates. The Training & Placement Cell guides the students to develop their ability to articulate their skills and domain knowledge to the prospective employers. SERVICE LEARNING- PHOTOGRAPH

Students are participating in local community development activities such as, visits to social welfare centers, cleaning campaigns, tree plantation programmes, eye, blood camp and the distribution of free food and clothing. Students can also learn about the harsh facts of life, acquire social skills and become responsible through these student-led programmes.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMS

TKEC have organized Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programs, Women Entrepreneurship Development Programs and Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programme to promote and strengthen the students in Science and Technology entrepreneurship.
